Building a connection between you and your intuition can truly empower your life. When you have a stronger relationship with your intuition it can guide you, allowing more free flow and effortless in your life. Building a connection with your intuition is building a connection with your heart.
Let your heart be your guide. Your heart is connected to your higher self. Your higher self is where you receive your intuitive guidance. They are all connected as one! Your heart knows the best outcome for your life, because it is connected to your higher self. Your heart will guide you in the direction of your highest good.
How to connect to the heart?
1. Place your hands on your heart. Your heart is your whole upper chest area.
2. Bring your awareness to where your hands are resting on your heart.
3. Take a breath in your mouth, and out your mouth, and let go.
4. Start to feel the essence of your heart rising up beneath your hands.
5. You will start to see, sense or feel your hearts energy. You will start to feel the resonance of your own heart. As you breath and let go your Heart energy will build more and more.
Now that you have established a connection with your heart, you are ready to start using it to activate your intuition.
We need the support of our heart to align to a strong intuitive sense. Your heart can provide many answers to questions regarding your: job, relationships, finances, family, career, knowing what crystal is best for you, or what class is best for you, and so on.
Next, you want to establish what feels like “yes” and what feels like “no” in your heart and body. Be curious about the sensations you feel in this exercise. Your heart and body will show you everything you need to know.
To start this process, hold both of your hands on your heart. You are going to give a TRUE statement to your heart. The statement will be your name.
For example, “My name is Laura Lee.”
When you say your own name, notice how it feels in your heart and body to make this TRUE statement. It might feel warm in your heart, peaceful or calm. You might have a knowing of truth when making this statement.
Now, make a statement that is UNTRUE. Make up a different name for yourself.
For example, “My name is Sarah.”
Now start to notice how this statement feels in your heart. Maybe it feels cold or rigid. Maybe your heart or body feels stiff or weird. Notice how an UNTRUE statement feels different than a TRUE statement.
You can now apply this practice to your daily life and decisions you need to make. Always make sure you ask a “yes/no” question. When you hold your heart and ask it if you should, for example, stay in the relationship, you will now get clear guidance from your Heart and intuition. Trust this guidance. It comes from your higher self and knows what is for your highest good. Have fun knowing you have entered a higher path of knowledge!
Namaste,
Laura Lee
